Our backhaul supplier has reported that there is an Openreach fibre optic break between Hunty and Turrif which is resulting in issues with our backhaul connection. A fibre repair team have been dispatched to repair the damage. At this time Openreach has not provided an estimated fix time for the issue.
We have routed our customers onto our backup backhaul connection. This connection is limited and as a result, your internet service may be slower than usual. Any customers with static IP address will currently not have access to this service.
We apologise for any inconvenience that may cause. We will continue to provide updates as we receive them!
Our supplier has reported that Openreach engineers are on site assessing the situation and working on a fix.
In the meantime, we have moved our system onto a backup backhaul supply to ensure that our customers are not without internet. Please note this connection is limited and may be slower than usual!
Our backhaul supplier has confirmed that there is an major outage with Openreach circuits in the Aberdeen Exchange. Our backhaul supply is routed through Aberdeen and is affected by the Openreach major outage.
Openreach are currently looking into this and will provide an update to our supplier and ourselves as soon as possible.

At 1245 today we have been notified of an issue with our fibre optic backhaul connection. This issue is not with our network, it is with our backhaul suppliers issue.
